ELEPHANT

This Monday, over at COLLAGE OBSESSIONwe were to take an image of an Elephant and play with it.  I recently watched a touching documentary on PBS about these beautiful and amazing creatures.  They are more 'human' than we first thought and cry real tears.  They love and play and fight and have a strong bond to one another.  Just like humans.

Here is my digital photo ~ for the Elephants:

I used an image of a south African park, overlayed it with an elephants eye, and placed a touching photo in the bottom right of what could only be described as 'elephant love'.  The quote speaks for itself.

Jan this is beautiful and so touching. I love the quote. I love elephants, always have and I cried at a sad video of a crippled baby being rejected by mother and left to die. I still cannot watch anything too sad although it's nature.
Wonderful picture!

Lovely Jan and I was just playing with an elephant last night...well doodling on a white cut out of an elephant

I was so moved when I saw a documentary that talked about elephants expressing "grief"...so beautiful (maybe it was the same one)

60 minutes has a spot on them too recently along with Jane Goodall and her chimps WOW!
