Old rusty trucks.  If only they could speak....

"I've seen fire and I've seen rain"

"It's surprising how much memory is
built around things unnoticed at the time".
Barbara Kingsolver

"Don't cry because it's over.
Smile because it happened".

Sorry I missed visiting with you today, Jan. It looked like quite a gathering! Just posted a little thing I made on my much-neglected blog. What fun I had. Take care.

Did you take these photos? Holy cow. They are amazing! There is something magical about rust and grunge and anything antique because they hold so many stories hoping to be discovered. The quotes you chose are perfect.

Hey Jan, lovely images and I always love quotes. Whatcha up to over there? Today I am taking a break from the organizing to go out with Mona and Melissa. Have been to the bookstore this morning and bought Sam his annual Guinness Book of World Records. Today is his 53rd birthday. Will cook a special meal for him tonite; maybe get some eclairs for dessert. I would bake something but not sure I will have time. Off to lunch now. Hope your day is great. Tammy

Look at you all quotey and philosophical. (Is that how you spell that? It looks wrong.) Why is there no spell checker on comments? So aggravating. I love James Taylor and Kingsolver too.
