Shadow Play

This pumpkin was leftover from October and it almost was thrown into the trash.....until I spied the snowbank in the backyard that was leftover from our last snowy day.  Kismet:

"Look round and round upon this
bare bleak plain,
and see even here,
upon a winter's day,
how  beautiful the shadows are!"
Charles Dickens

Poor, cold little punkin'. I like snow when it is some place else.

The pumpkin looks so cute! Oh my. I must be losing it if I think pumpkins are cute. But the shadow poem is perfect for it.
